Life is a slippery slope.
You are up, you are down,
You learn how to cope.
At no time must you ever lose hope!
You are having a senior moment,
A word well known will not appear.
Don’t worry, don’t panic,
It will pop up, have no fear.
You are no dope,
Just don’t give up hope!
I practice piano every day,
I love it, but I stumble and grope.
I’ll never get to play Carnegie Hall,
I’m afraid I’ve given up hope.
A young couple would like to get married.
The expense is too high,
So they elope.
Their love is deep.
We think it will keep.
Let’ hope! Let’s hope! Let’s hope!
