forget

  FORGET...NOT YET

I contemplate a life of many years,
Full of love, music, sometimes tears.
They tell us when you are getting old,
Try to learn something new,
It will stimulate your brain,
See what you are still able to do.
Alwyn is trying to explain.
How to draw with the right part of the brain.

I might now ask, isn't it a difficult task?
I shall try most anything,
If assurance it will bring,
That I don’t come to an open door,
And ask myself, whatever I was looking for.

There is that one niggeling thought that makes me fret;
I want to keep my brain together,
I don’t want to forget, at least not yet!
