You make plans for your future
You plot and arrange
But rest assured that all will change.

Life, from birth to death 
Is a series of changes from the first breath
A baby takes at leaving his mother’s womb
To the last breath of the dying
Laid to rest in  their tomb.

From childhood to teenager there are changes galore.
From college grads to marriage there are even more.
Just as you feel safe in a certain role,
Fate plays you some tricks beyond your control.

Life just goes on, day by day,
But the most painful changes are still on their way.
The constancy of change is here to stay.

When you are very old, there is only one thing to do.
Don’t look into the mirror, this really cant be you!
