  BIRTHDAY CARD TO RICHARD BRODSKY

There is a secret known to no‑one
Al and I think of you as our "Godson"
This goes way back for many years,
When we saw your big eyes full of tears.
On your little rear had landed a slap,
For comfort and loving you needed my lap.
You danced little jigs , you were so very bright,
To be your playmates was our delight.

We visited often and our favorite chore
Was to take you to the candy store.
You ran on ahead, we were somewhat slow,
You turned round and hollered "Come on kids, lets go"

On your court of cement your cattle herd grazed
We watched and admired quite amazed.
Louise is calling, the dishes rattle,
"I can't come to dinner till I count my cattle,

At Family parties, Grandparents and Cousins,
Uncles and Aunts they came by the dozens.
To them we were strangers they could see,
They asked the children who we could be?
Their answer was "They are on our side of the family”.

Many years have flown by, you and Vicky have grown
You now have wonderful families of your own.
We thank Louise, Paige and Vicky with all our heart,
That of your family we are still a Part.

A Birthday Speaker I'll never make,
But I'll always can bake your favorite cake.

             Many Healthy Happy Successful Birthdays,
with our Love Gerta & Al
