Sitting in my favorite chair,
Looking idly on the ground,
Suddenly I found
There’s beauty all around.
On the window sill in my living room,
A geranium is still in its latest bloom.
The couch in red leather, rather grand,
Displays pillows embroidered by my mother’s hand.
By colorful things I was always attracted,
My life long hobby ‘”Stamps” I collected,
The most unusual tiles I selected
From every foreign trip we made.
On the walls of my kitchen they are displayed.
Where-ever I look in my home I can see,
Things that mean a great deal to me.
Love and feeling is personal,
It is individual,
Don’t you agree?
