The Bible tells us, you will recall,
That Abraham is the Father of us all.
The Lord had him severely tested.
When the sacrifice of Isaac was requested.
His numerous sons settled in different places.
Were ancestors of various races.
They prayed to one God only, that was their aim.
As time went on, they gave him a different name.
There were the Christians, the Moslems and the Jews,
Their God was the only one right and True.
They could not be swayed,
His laws only had to be obeyed.

In outward appearance, there is not much difference
Between the tribes.
Put a Palestinian boy next to a little Jew,
You really can’t tell who is who.
Religious feuds bring bloodshed and hate
Crusades have been started, then bombings of late.
The world is in trouble when wars never end.
Let’s hold out our hand, so our enemy becomes our Friend.
