POEMS

  A DAILY ROUTINE

If you want to lead an orderly life, I’ve seen,
You must stick to a daily routine.
You have to plan ahead,
Before you are ready to go to bed.
Your clothes will have to be selected,
Make sure no spots will be detected.
What are the planned hours?
Have plenty of time for hot showers.

I count out my vitamins for that day,
Have a small breakfast, and I am on my way.
I walk to the center, in rain or shine,
Make  sure that I’ll get there on time.
There is so much to do, it’s hard to choose,
None of the activities you want to lose.
There is music, and dancing,
Painting and writing, poetry and essays,
It's all very exciting.

We get a healthy well planned meal,
For an old citizen, it’s a wonderful deal!
When I go home, late in the day,
There will be some light shopping on the way.
There is one more thing I simply must do,
Practice piano for an hour or two.

That’s my daily routine,
I can add a small dinner and early to bed.
