In years gone by,
a challenge could be cruel
To keep ones honor high,
You threw in your glove,
Then fought a deadly duel.
The Olympics are a challenge
For a great competition,
The athletes work for over a year,
Without taking any intermission.
Day by day you are challenged
By objects that refuse to function.
The car, the cell phone,
To keep a level head,
Takes a lot of gumption.
There are tax matters and legislative matters
That challenge our mind,
You need an honest lawyer for help,
They really are hard to find.
I have a personal challenge,
That’s always been bothering me,
I want to be the best human being
that I can possibly be!
Helpful, considerate of others
Understanding, loving and kind,
A member of Ethical Culture,
Where we’re all of similar mind!
